May and June - Steve Carter Your staff and your hospitality were wonderful. The animals were more than I expected. The food and accommodations were great. All needs were met. It is an incredible management program you have on the ranch. The guide service was top notch. You guys have made my dreams come true. I'm looking forward to coming back some day and spending time on the ranch. Also with our traveling around your country I felt very safe. Everybody we talked to were friendly and very helpful. This was my first time to a foreign country and your people made it great. I'll be back. This trip was living a dream. Thanks again for everything you guys did. Everything was great. Jan and Marie are by far the best hosts that I have experienced after many years hunting in the USA and Canada. The accommodation, equipment and food were outstanding. Frans led me on a stalk that on hands and knees for over half a mile allowed me to take a handsome springbok and that reminded me how the real lion earns a living. Hunting at its finest in beautiful Namibia. August - Walkiewicz Family Namibia is a sensory awakening that stirs the soul, warms the heart, kindles the mind and challenges the body to be alert. Klawerberg with its grace and beauty and majestic awe in between land and sky is like a fairy tale for adults ready to believe again in the power of nature over man. Yet forgiving, if respected by us it should be. Jan and Marie are the most gracious of hosts. The animals of this land are noble in their own right and a hunt here is to be treasured as a gift of a lifetime. For the observer and the photographer it is truly a spiritual adventure. The blessings of God are here and new friendships have been forged. Thank you so much! August - Kevin and Lisa Tipper Namibia is a land of wonders and truly superb gifts from nature. From the most delicate looking flora to the tough and resilient plants Namibia presents her splendor. We have had the trip of our lives, but will find a way back by hook or crook. Kevin's hunt was exhilarating and successful, as was the bird hunt with binoculars and camera. 96 bird species! Jan your sense of justice, respect for the natural way and your feelings of duty and obligation to the creatures is clearly evident and appreciated. Marie, your graciousness and welcoming manner is a gift I shall treasure for all my life. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms. Your cooking is splendid and I shall remember the delight of tastes previously unexplored. We say we will see you later, for one trip is not enough and our sights are set on our return. September - Erin and Allan Poncin The past eight days had been a father - daughter experience to be unrivalled anywhere. I feel we have bonded with each other, with nature, and very importantly with our hosts who have been marvelous. Marie, Jan and Marike have been gracious beyond belief. They know history, culture, animals, birds and hunting. Klawerberg is not just a hunting trip, but a life experience. I hope I am fortunate to visit again. Visitors' experiences: 2008 This year we started a new much more formal looking guest book, covered with ostrich hide from Klawerberg. Already some of our hunters complained about the smaller space to write, but we thought it would make it a bit easier for you? The former guest book will be a treasured memory for many years to come. March - David King My 2nd trip to your Ranch was again a true pleasure. I thought I could not have a better "hunting" experience than the last trip, but truly was it the hunt of my lifetime this trip. The blue wildebeest that challenged me when hunting it, and my fine hunt and shot on. the springbok - "the perfect shot placement", will be remembered forever by myself and my friend March - David Adams Your Ranch is one of the greatest places I have ever visited. The hunting was more than I could have imagined. Jan, the day we spent going to the other Ranch and visiting the African Village will never be forgotten. June - Tom Rabb I consider my trip to Klawerberg Ranch a trip of a life time. The accommodations were exceptional, Marie's cooking was ***** (five star), and you, your family and staff demonstrated what we refer to over here as "southern hospitality". You all made the trip very exciting while at the same time, made it very relaxing. The hunt went far beyond my expectations. Of the 6 game I was able to take, (Kudu, Oryx, Red Hartebeest, Blesbok, Springbok, Warthog) 4 scored gold in the Namibia Conservation Program. I still can not get over how good your guides were; they were unbelievable. I am looking forward to my next trip for a Wildebeest, Eland, and possibly a zebra. July - Jessica Swanson From the moment we left the airport I have been amazed at the beauty of this country - the land, the animals, and the people. My strongest desire was to see giraffe and zebra. Both of which were breathtaking to see in their own "homes." But my most memorable experience , was the Oryx. Watching them run beautifully. Thank you for your hospitality, the amazing food, for treating us like your own family. July - Ron and Danna Engel Words cannot describe the incredible experience that we have had in Namibia. July - Caleb Engel I had a great hunt with two gold medal trophies and a jackie. The cooking was great too. August - Manny, Rosemarie and Eric Gonzalez Manny and Rosemarie accompanied Eric to see his hunt and to do some photography. While sitting at a hide and having a great time, a troupe of baboons arrived. Not knowing the outdoors they were quite uneasy. So, they read in the book about animal behaviour Marié gave them with: August - Ben Bloys Where to begin? So many memories, the thrill of the first stalk over a hill to see a mature kudu bull. The appreciation of the PHS' eyesight, knowledge of animal behaviour, skill at stalking, patience with the hunters new to Africa, etc…Marié's wonderful cooking, Jan's wonderful stories and the constant feeling of caring thoughtfulness. You have been the perfect hosts. August - Robbie and Vicki Bearden How blessed we have been to be able to come back for our second visit / hunt. The warmth and graciousness is beyond measure. What astounds us is the fact that the guides have such keen eyes and can spot game that is just pin dots!! They are beyond doubt some of the best in Namibia. Thank you for making the hunt such a success - Jan, Marié and staff, you are unparalleled and we are looking forward coming back again. August and September - David and Joan Moore For me it was not only a vacation and hunting trip to the dark continent of Africa, but it was also an adventure of a lifetime in Namibia. In which I was emotionally drained by the visual experiences and wonderful people that Joan and I met. I now know what is meant by the phrase: " Once you have been to Africa, it will haunt your soul." We cant' wait to return. We cannot remember when we enjoyed such warm hospitality, excellent food and terrific company. You and your staff did everything possible to make us comfortable. And last, but not the least, what a fabulous hunt! September - Otto and Acílio Borges Klawerberg, a dream that becomes true!
