Visitors’ experiences 2007 May 2007: Francois, Geraldine and Sylvain Sugeres, Johan and Cecil This first trip in Namibia will stay a wonderful memory. Thank you for this great time and for all the different and good meals. Thank you to Jan for his professionalism and to the team for all the good days. We come back!! May 2007: Paul and Sharon Kossmann The trip has exceeded our expectations. Every day had been a new adventure and a new treat. Everyone has been so pleasant and so helpful. The accommodations are excellent!! Marié, your meals are excellent!! Please make a cookbook. On mothers' day we had an exciting day at the blind. A mother cheetah had made a fresh kill with a springbok. Her three cubs and herself fed off this kill all afternoon. It was wonderful to film and witness!! We could not believe how lucky we were to witness this. Absorbing all the beautiful scenery, the animals, the big wonderful sky, everything was amazing. June 2007: Craig, Brittany, Brooke and Chase Willis As we began preparing to come to Namibia, I was a little apprehensive. .... As we arrived on Klawerberg, the beauty of the mountains and wildlife took our breath away. Both of you were so kind to us. I started to relax. The first afternoon we sat in the hide on the waterhole. All the animals began coming out and our hearts began racing. All the animals we had seen in the books came to life - the eland, kudu, impala, springbok. Then a giant warthog - the animal Chase had been talking about for months came out - boom. A gold medal warthog - our hunt was off to a great start. I will never forget the look on Jan's face when I told him I, Brittany, wanted to shoot a kudu. I must say it was not too encouraging. But after an exciting hunt - I got that kudu - and Jan was like a proud Papa! Thank you so much for that! Namibia is a beautiful country and I am so glad we could have this experience. Thank you for taking us into your heart and home. June 2007: William and Shirley Willis Thank you for all the hospitality that you have shown us. We had a very great time hunting and watching all the wonderful animals you have on the ranch. We will never forget this trip. June 2007: David King My lifelong dream of hunting in Africa was realized beyond my expectations. Your ranch and home was opened up to us. I will forever remember my relaxing time spent here on your ranch. I had no idea what to expect when planning for this trip, but I have definitely fallen in love with Namibia. July 2007: Rachel and Heather Kurkowski Both me and my sister, Heather feel fortunate, not only to have been able to come to Africa, but to have had the privilege of staying on your ranch in particular. The landscape of Namibia is so beautiful. I love the waterbuck probably best of all. They are such beautiful animals with their slightly curving horns and shaggy course hair. Lovely. If I can just say one thing to anyone reading this it would be that Jan and Marié Visser are the most gracious hosts any visitor can ask for. July 2007: Karl Kurkowski This was my third visit to Klawerberg. On this visit I brought my two youngest daughters with. We loved Etosha and had a very good hunt. This visit was more dry than in the past, but the mountains and sunrise were as beautiful as ever. August 2007: Walter Patschke Every aspect of the visit was more than I could have expected. Any part of the visit; staying in your lovely home, eating the great meals, touring the ranch or hunting the magnificent animals (or just viewing them), would have made the trip a success. I found your guides most knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed visiting with them very much. I really appreciate Jan's efforts to be a good steward of the great country and animals God has provided for us to use. Thanks for being such gracious hosts. September 2007: Horst und Irmgard Allwardt & Rüdiger and Erika Ahrens Nach 2001 / 2005 und nun 2007 September haben wir diese hervorragende Farm zum 3mal erleben dürfen. Rüdiger und Erika haben diesen grossen Wildbestand zum erstmalig geniessen können. Wir sind jedes mal von der betreuung rundum begeisterd. Es war für uns wieder ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Sollten wir gesund bleiben - freuen wir uns auf ein WIEDERSEHN. |
