I came here for a hunt and find myself leaving with an experience of a lifetime! I experienced fantastic hunting and splendid scenic views. Crossed paths with a hungry leopard and a puff adder, had jackals and caracal in the late evenings and dusk and had the privilege of sharing your home for the last eight days! Jan, Marié, William, Willem, Frans, Johannes, Fluffy, Simba, Bakkies, Nunus- thank you for the absolute wonderful memories, the delicious food(will have to go on Simba's diet)the friendship. It is with sad hearts that we leave the beauty and serenity of Namibia for the fast pace of the States, but it is with much gratitude in our hearts and hope of a swift return that we depart. Marié, you are a warm and gracious hostess and we thank you for keeping our bellies full with such delicious meals. The staff at the lodge is so friendly and kind- we thank them as well. The "boys" that you employ are so knowledgeable and kind. Thank you both for your warm company, for your knowledge and sharing your memories with us. My first African Safari.This has been the perfect first Africa. From your recommendation to putting us in contact with a Namibian travel agent to send us through Etosha to spots beyond to the final culmination hunting with you. The lodge is beautiful! The accommodation is tasteful and elegant and the staff!!! Simply amazing. I also want to thank you for understanding exactly what I wanted in a hunt and what I was or was not capable of. Hiking for many hours in the thorny hills in search of kudu was demanding and exciting. Johannes was exceptional. He guided me with such skill for kudu and Oryx that it was simply an honor to be in his presence while he worked. I completed a dream an African dream. It can only be the first… once.

The PH's were excellent and did not try to get you to take just any game but to get a trophy to be proud of. Their quality as trackers was an experience in itself. I have hunted and stayed in many hunting ranches and lodges. If you are looking for the ultimate
place to stay, with the most enjoyable hunting experience, along with trophy size game, this is the
place to book a hunt in Namibia, Africa. I had one of the best times a man could have on a safari
that has no hidden costs and is very affordable for a middle-class working man. The food, lodging
and hospitality are five-star quality.

I want to start out saying, first of all, thank you very much for the super hospitality that I never
expected from a hunting lodge. I've been to many and have run my own. I really enjoyed the evenings
of popcorn and sitting around and just talking, very relaxing after a long super exciting day of hunting.
My guides were exceptionally good guides. I put my trust in them at all times for anything that concerned
hunting or spotting, confident that I would harvest trophy animals. Jan is one of those people that have
made a big impression in my life. His ability to make you feel at home and able to hunt in any special
way that you want made the trip really enjoyable. There were a few things I stayed wanting to do such
as getting a rock massage from Marike and hunting several more animals. I went expecting to have a great
time, but this trip exceeded my expectations by far. Hope to see you someday soon.

second time around, but somehow y'all have managed to improve experience over the years. You have preserved
the charm and allure of the experience while equally impressing us with everyday professionalism that is

flawless and would highly recommend everyone in this position. Johannes and Frans are extraordinary trackers
and deserve special recognition for their effort. As we brothers return to the US with great trophies,
renewed friendships and a new horizon of sporting adventures there was but one word to describe our time

As this was my second trip to Klawerberg, I expected gracious hospitality, good food and comfortable
accommodations. Both trips were in early August and the weather was perfect. Previously I had taken a
variety of quality plains game trophies, so on this trip I was specifically interested in Eland, Blue
Wildebeest and Warthog. The first morning, we stalked and watched a small heard of Eland which contained
several nice but young bulls. At noon, Jan and I discussed the Eland and decided to wait and look for a
mature bull. On the third morning after walking and tracking for about two hours, my guides, Frans and
Johannes, spotted a group of bulls. After an extensive stalk, they said there was an exceptional old bull
in the group. After a tense wait for him to get into position, I was able to get a clean shot. I was very
impressed with the guide's ability to follow a trail that I could not even see out when pointed out to me.
All three animals qualified for NAPHA Game Fields Medals (Gold Quality/Mature Animals). In addition, while
out hunting, we saw numerous other exceptional trophy quality animals. Due to the efforts of Jan, Marie,
the guides and house staff, this certainly was an exceptional hunt and experience.
