It is not too early to book your Klawerberg–Namibia hunt. Thereby you can assure that you get the time frame you prefer and won’t miss out on your African Dream.
We are Privileged.
That is what gets to your mind if one thinks about the past 7 months of this hunting season. Fortunately we
did not hunt in February, as there was not one day of full sunshine, but it rained. Sometimes Klawerberg was
hidden by a veil of fog. It rained ongoing from November until May. Klawerberg–Namibia and the game were
flourishing. Fountains were discovered running from the mountain, vehicles got stuck in the veldt for days
and even Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert got water, Lilly Pan nearby Matahöhe was a delightful sight while
pink lilies decorated the normally dry landscape. All record books were rewritten and all Namibians were
smiling and light hearted. Even now in our dry season some fountains are still running and because of the
fantastic raining season the thorn bushes and trees started blossoming and sprouting green earlier than normal.
There was severe flooding in the North and lots of people and the Government reached out to the families and
people who had been disrupted.

What a wonderful hunting season we had thus far. The most beautiful strong trophy animals had been taken in
splendid ways. We are proud and so happy to let hunters have these excellent trophies, especially as they will
decorate their homes for many years with all the memories of the hunt and our beautiful country, Namibia attached
to it. Again, being prepared physically, as well as having practiced on shooting sticks with your “trusted friend”
is a winner. Whether it is was a 306 or 270 you practiced with does not matter. So to speak of: It is the jockey
on the horse that matters. The same goes with bow hunting. Come prepared and you will be successful, as proven
over and over again. |
 |
Regularly we will say to each other how fortunate we are to be so enriched by people we meet, touching our lives
with their personalities, wisdom and friendship. As Dick wrote: “Hunting with someone I believe creates a special
bond that lasts far beyond the hunt itself and that bond grows stronger with the passage of time.”
We added yet another two new up market double bedrooms to the rest of our facilities. Everybody thus far enjoyed
and appreciated them.
| Yes, we are indeed privileged, as our youngest daughter, Marike after 14 years on board various large cruise lines,
finally settled in Windhoek. To our delight she is going to assist Jan at some of the hunting shows in the USA. |

She is a fully qualified and experienced health and beauty therapist and image consultant. She is available for beauty
treatments and massages for our guests at Klawerberg. |
To all our hunter friends:
Greetings from home to home
Jan and Mari
